It is for 6-8 serving.
Ingredients:-
- Chicken 1 kg.
- Rice 1 kg.
- Potato 2.
- Tomato paste 1 cup.
- Onion in slices 2.
- Garlic paste 1 table spoon.
- Ginger paste 2 table spoon.
- Chopped green chili 2 table spoon.
- Yogurt 1 cup.
- Mix pickle 1/2 cup.
- Salt 2 tea spoon.
- Black pepper 10.
- Cinnamon 4 piece of 1 inch.
- Cardamoms 4.
- Cloves 4.
- Oil 1cup.
- Bay leaves 4.
- Cumin powder 1/2 tea spoon.
- Red chili powder 1 tea spoon.
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tea spoon.
- Saffron strands 5.
- Fresh coriander and mint leaves.
- Cut the potatoes into 6 pieces each.
- Sprinkle salt over them.
- Fry them in deep oil.
- Washed the rice and soaked for 1/2 hour before cook.
- Dissolved the saffron in 1/4 cup warm milk.
- Take a skillet and heat the 1 cup oil and fry the onion for 5 minutes until brown.
- Remove the onion from the skillet and set aside.
- Add cinnamon,cloves,garlic and ginger,cardamoms,bay leaves,peppers and fry for 3 minutes.
- Cook in the chicken until chicken gives out its own juices.
- Add the tomato paste and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the green chilies,cinnamon powder,red chili powder,turmeric powder,salt and cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the yogurt and cook for 5 minutes while stirring.
- Cook until the oil separates from the meat.
- Add chopped coriander and mint leaves.
- Cook until the chicken tender.Take a pan and parboil the rice until the grains are half cooked.
- Strain the rice.
- Sprinkle the rice over the mutton,
- Add fried potato and mix pickle over the rice.
- Sprinkle saffron milk over the rice.
- Cover the skillet and cook for 15-20 minutes on low heat.
