Ingredients:-
- All purpose flour 1/1/4 cup.
- Salt 1/2 tea spoon.
- Baking powder 2 tea spoon.
- Milk 1/2 cup.
- Egg 1.
- Butter 1/4 cup.
- Brown sugar 1/2 cup.
- Ground nutmeg 1/4 tea spoon.
- Butter 1/2 cup.
- White sugar 1/2 cup.
- Strawberry 1 cup cut into halved.
- Take a 8 inch square pan and melt 1/4 cup butter.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg and brown sugar.
- Arrange strawberries halves,cut side down,in pan.
- Take a large bowl and cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add egg and beat.
- Stir flour and baking powder and salt.
- Add cream mixture in flour mixture with milk and beat well.
- Spread the batter over the strawberries.
- Bake it for 30-35 minutes on 350 degree.
- Remove the cake from the oven and leave for 5 minutes for cool,then transfer into the serving platter.
