Baked Chicken with Mushrooms

Mushrooms contain good-for-your-bladder selenium and, like us, they produce vitamin d  when exposed to sunlight. Oyster mushrooms are a good source or iron . Plus, they're low in calories.With baked chicken it is good combination.This recipe is for 6 serving and will be ready in 1 hour.

Ingredients:-
  • Boneless chicken 1 kg.
  • Mushrooms 2 cup.
  • Onion in slices 1 cup.
  • Garlic paste 1 tea spoon.
  • Ginger paste 1 table spoon.
  • Salt 1 1/2 tea spoon.
  • Red pepper powder 1 table spoon.
  • Mustard powder 1/2 tea spoon.
  • Black pepper powder 1 tea spoon.
  • Chicken broth 2 cup.
  • Dried oregano 1 table spoon.
  • Dried thyme 1 tea spoon.
  • Dried basil 1 tea spoon.
  • Heavy cream 1/2 cup.
  • Grated cheese 1/2 cup.
  • Dijon mustard 1 table spoon.
  • Olive oil 1/2 cup.
  • Oil 1/2 cup.
 How to make:-
  1. Cut the chicken into 4 by 2 inch strips.
  2. Cut the mushrooms into halve.
  3. Marinate the chicken with 1 tea spoon salt and 1/2 tea spoon black pepper and set aside.
  4. Heat the 1/2 cup olive oil in a pan and fry the chicken each side until golden brown and set aside.
  5. Heat 1/2 cup oil and fry the onion for 4 minutes until golden.
  6. Add garlic and ginger paste and fry for 3 minutes.
  7. Stir in mushrooms and cook until tender.
  8. Add red pepper powder,1/2 tea spoon  black pepper powder,1/2 tea spoon salt,chicken broth,thyme,basil,dijon mustard, and oregano and cook for 5 minutes.
  9. Add the chicken and  stir.
  10. Grease the oven tray and transfer the chicken in it.
  11. Bake it on 180 degree for 20-25 minutes.
  12. Set aside chicken and pour its broth in the pan.
  13. Heat the broth and add in cream and stir and bring to a boil .
  14. Simmer until slightly reduce.
  15. Pour the broth in serving try and top with the chicken and mushrooms.
  16. Sprinkle over the cheese.
  17. Heat it in oven until cheese melt.
