Chicken Tikka with Paneer

  paneer is made of protein, it releases energy slowly in the body which means, it does not cause a spike in one’s blood sugar levels, nor does it give an instant boost which drops soon. paneer is a good source of protein especially for vegetarians who do not get their intake from meat products. 100 gm of paneer yields about 18 gm of protein which is good for people who weight train as they need protein for muscle building and repair.Chicke tikka is a spicy dish and with paneer become so tasty and healthy.This recipe is for 4 serving and make in 4-5 hours.

Ingredients;-

  • Boneless chicken 1 kg.
  • Paneer 14 0z block.
  • Lemon juice 1 table spoon.
  • Salt 1 tea spoon.
  • Red chili powder 1 tea spoon.
  • Ginger paste 1 tea spoon.
  • Garlic paste 1 tea spoon.
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup.
  • Coriander powder 1 table spoon.
  • Chopped green chili 1 table spoon.
  • Oil 1 table spoon.
  • Cucumber 1 .
  • Onion 1.
  • Lemon 1.
How to cook:-
  1. Cut the chicken and paneer in to cubes.
  2. Take a bowl and marinate the chicken and paneer with lemon juice and leave it for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix the salt,red and green chili,ginger and garlic paste,coriander,oil in the yogurt.
  4. Marinate the chicken and paneer with htis mixture.
  5. Leave it for 5 hours in the refrigerator.
  6. Thread the chicken and paneer on pre-soaked bamboo skewers.
  7. Cook the chicken for 10 minutes on each side in oven or until it brown.
  8. Remove from the oven,pour in the dish and garnish with onions,cucumber and lemon wedges.
